“Discovered in the world-renowned Sannine Formation of Lebanon, this plate is a testament to the remarkable preservation qualities of the site.

The fossil block contains a rare association of multiple species. The visible side of the plate clearly shows a beautifully preserved Nematonotus and another fish, Anguillavus, their skeletal structures and forms exquisitely detailed on the stone. The textual information also indicates that the reverse side of the plate holds additional fossils, including a baby squid and another fish.”
